Teal Joy

Another great not very well known singer !...again not much info about her but the voice is unusual and definitely needs a listen to !  She only seems to have recorded two L/P's...so if anyone has a link to her other one "Mood In Pink" it would be great to have that ...

Teal Joy was a nightclub singer born Elsie Itashiki in Washington, state. On her first record Ted Steele Presents Miss Teal Joy (1957) she sings in Japanese, Yiddish, Italian, French and Spanish as well as English, which she pulls off well. Three years later in 1960 she released Mood in Pink.
