Comments

We are now in Lock-Down in England.....So its more than likely I will be spending more time on this blog.....be great to hear some comments from people who download the music and perhaps strike up some interaction with like minded music lovers of the type of music that is on here....so everybody feel free to make any comments good or even bad and see what happens...also if any of the downloads don't work then let me know and I can re-post them.....Cheers Brody..

    Hi there,

    H.O.S.T.S. is on my list of music blogs that I visit more or less regularly, and since you requested comments and interaction, I thought I'd send this small greeting.

    I can't say that all the music you post is in my taste, but I appreciate some of it, and of course - generally speaking - it's wonderful that there are people like you, who take time to rip and upload music simply for spreading it to others, without any interest in making money.

    I'm in Scandinavia (Sweden to be precise), and we are more or less on lockdown here too. So far things aren't too bad. The larger supermarkets offer the possibility to order food and other supplies over the internet and pick it up by car (or have it delivered to your home for a reasonable cost). This means it is possible to cut down all social internaction to a minimum. If you don't need to go to work or see a doctor, you can literally stay in your house 100% of the time. Of course this will cause a lot of problems in a longer perspective, but for now it's not so bad. You can simply stay at home and spend your time reading, listening to music, watching tv etc.

    Keep up the good work with the blog, be careful, and try to avoid catching the Corona virus.

      Hi Jumpstart...thanks for the comment and glad you enjoy some of the music that I post..it would be very dull and boring if everybody liked everything....Its just about the same in England as far as the food supermarkets situations deliveries ect...and everybody seems to be cleaning cars houses Gardens ect including me !....if you have a favourite artist or L/P or CD let me know and maybe if have them or it I Could post them.....Thanks once again for getting this comment thing started...lets hope more will have a go...you take care and keep the right distance !....cheers....Brody

    Hello Mick, Sorry that I haven't dropped by more regularly, but now being on 3 months isolation I haven't any excuse. I hope all is well in the Brody household. My wife is going bananas, she hates being confined. I'm OK as my (ex) drinking buddies supply me with lots of Guinness. Like you I am spending more time with my music. I've been sorting through the boxes of boot sale and charity shop CD's I've left in my shed. Got most of them at ridiculously low prices 5 for a quid at my local Help The Aged (or Age UK as it's known today).

    Not being PC savvy I can't seem to comment on any blog when I'm using Chrome. It started after the last big Windows 10 upgrade. But I can on Edge. How weird id that!


    Still enough of my ramblings. Keep up the great posts and KEEP SAFE.
